SAS is located in Prince George on a beautiful 160 acre sanctuary.  We are a few dedicated individuals who have committed ourselves to the rescue, re-homing and re-loving of abused, abandoned and homeless animals. If you are looking for a new family pet we would love to introduce you to our wonderful adoptable animals!

It is our goal to make the difference between life, death and the quality of life to as many unwanted, homeless animals as we can. We are a private shelter that can only exist with your help, support and love donations. So please support us any way you can......

We have an even greater goal....... to make aware of, and educate the public on animal welfare and the prevention of the astronomical  numbers of unwanted pets and animals. Thousands of these animals are put to death everyday across our country. Those numbers could be drastically reduce if everyone spayed/neutered their pets and stopped the over breeding of animals, especially dogs, cats.

Many of these animals ultimately end up in SPCAs, rescues, pounds and shelters just like this one here at SAS. 

Some of our education tools may be unpleasant for you to read or watch, but not as unpleasant as what the animals are suffering. We hope you will click on all our links, read our articles and help us by passing on the information you will learn with-in our pages to your friends and family.

*Though one person can make a difference, it will take the co-operation, love, care and dedication of many to put an end to the population of our unwanted and homeless animals.

How Can You Help?

There are many ways in which you as an individual can help save and improve the lives of unwanted homeless animals! These are just a few:

*You can support your local animal SPCA, rescue, pound, or shelter with your time...... just a few hours a week would be greatly appreciated.

* You can send in donations of cash, food, bedding, toys & dishes.......which are always in great demand!

* You can commit to the spaying/neutering of your own pet, and you can help educate others of the importance of them doing the same!

*If you are looking for a pet or other animal to add to your family decide to only purchase a pet through adoption! Not only will you be saving and improving the quality of one life, but two!....you will be making room for another homeless animal!

*You can encourage others to do the same.

With all of us working together we can begin to put an end to the vast amount of unwanted  homeless pets & animals........ They need us, so please help!
